Russian Public Relations Association (RPRA)
The Russian Public Relations Association (RPRA) was established in July 1991. RPRA is the first Russian professional public non-profit organization that unites Russian and foreign PR practitioners.
The Association promotes the development of public relations in Russia, popularizes the profession of public relations among governmental, public and commercial institutions, informs the public and PR professionals about the activities of international public relations associations (CERP (The European Public Relations Confederation), IPRA (International Public Relations Association), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), IPR (UK's Institute of Public Relations)) and integrates the activity of PR practitioners and representatives of commercial companies in Russia.
The current operations of the Association encompass educational programs, media relations, publishing and organizing international projects.
The Association's plans include conducting surveys of the PR market, holding educational seminars and hosting the PROBA-IPRA Golden World Awards competition (a joint project of The Russian Public Relations Association and The International Public Relations Association (IPRA). The award is given annually for contribution to the development of public relations in Russia).

The International Public Relations Association (IPRA)
The International Public Relations Association (IPRA) was established in London on May 1, 1955, with the adoption of a Constitution and the appointment of the first IPRA Council.
The mission of the association is as follows: developing professional activity, providing exchange of experience and ideas at an international level, popularizing public relations, research, education, informational activity, publishing, organizing international projects and protecting the interests of the PR sphere as a whole and of each of its representative personally.
The association’s activity is carried out and controlled by its members in compliance with the IPRA Constitution.
